Hello, and thank you for visiting my website. I’m Andy Savva, 'The Garage Inspector'. I understand that more often than not, independent garage owners feel alone at the top, with nobody to bounce ideas off; nobody to hold them accountable, to help them put new systems in place, to help them reach their goals or to confirm where their numbers need to be to achieve the highest level of success.
Well, this is where I can help you.
Some people wonder what’s happening, others watch it happen, Andy Savva makes it happen. Highly recommended to learn from this man to grow your business successfully.
Country Manager for the UK and Eire at Philips Automotive
How I Can
As ‘The Garage Inspector’ I follow a strategic process of understanding my clients’ needs. Clarifying the actions that need to be addressed. Creating solutions that are SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and timed based). Change comes with the ability and desire for the client to let go of the old ways of thinking, feeling, behaving and willingly adopt a new way of operating. Continuing with them to implement specific levels of knowledge and understanding that will result in improved and sustainable performance. Close, ensuring and helping the client understand how it was done, why it worked, and how the exercise can be repeated.
I have owned and managed some of the most successful independent garages in the UK. As an automotive aftermarket business expert, I have helped many garage owners take their businesses to amazing levels of success, and I have also helped many industry-leading Original Equipment Parts Suppliers & Distributors understand how garage owners think and what they want from their suppliers. I do, undoubtedly feel, I am one of the most knowledgeable and passionate figures when it comes to the automotive industry.

The Garage Inspector courses include:
Leadership & Management Quality
Andy states: “These courses have been developed over the last two-years as it became more and more apparent many garage businesses were good are repairing vehicles but just lacked general business skills. These are intended to bridge the gap and are aimed at owner/managers, service/workshop managers, service reception/advisors, and technicians. I can assure everyone they will not be disappointed with the content and delivery of these courses”.
Just completed a two day course with Andy Savva, in Chester. Effective management/ leadership & customer excellence. Although many of us are already trying to offer this the best we can, we definitely haven’t been doing it properly.
Andy has clearly spent hours of his time getting down to the nitty gritty and thinking about every eventuality you could possibly be faced with and how to deal with it effectively. It’s now time for us to make a change in the garage trade.
So much of what you learn on these courses can be taken and applied to your business and, in some cases, to other areas of your day to day life.
Every detail has been carefully thought about and the 2 days are also well catered for. Andy Savva ensures that we are all well fed and watered, variety of food at lunch time, drinks, cakes & sweets are available through the training day. He also ensures the training venue is easily accessible by rail and car.
I find his training courses very inspiring and motivating. I guess it’s because he’s been there, done that and been very successful in business due to the consideration given to the attention to detail. We can all learn a lot from this man.
I first came across Andy just over 2 years ago in Wolverhampton, at Autoinform Live. I sat in his talk which lasted an hour, and in that hour, I absorbed so much information, help and advice to make my business better. I came out of the room with my brain buzzing full of ideas which I put into practice and still continue to put into practice to this day.
Recently I saw Andy was doing training day courses, the first one I went on was his marketing course, this course gave a brilliant insight on how to get the best out of brand awareness, lots of tips and ideas, I came away with such a positive feeling towards my business and that I should be more proud of the business too.
My second training day was his financial understanding for the garage business. Never in my life have I had some one teach me so much about how to run your garage efficiently and make it profitable.
As garage owners I feel we have a unique business that is very different to run to a lot of other business out there. We don’t fall into the retail sector of selling items in a shop, or a business that sells goods online etc. This course is dedicated to us garage folk who can at times have it hard selling our business.
Andy teaches why we should have higher labour rates, why we should continue to train our staff, why we should make comfortable profit on parts, why we should make our staff feel valued, the list goes on.
Andy is a genuine guy who has so much passion and knowledge about the motor trade, and he makes you feel very welcome, will answer any questions you have and is always there for help and advice even once you have left his course.
If you are in the trade, you going to one of his training days is a must, you will not be disappointed!
Thank you, Andy.
